(…continued from last week)

• Delay. I said some time ago that Satan’s plan is to keep you running in circles to wear you out, run you down with self-doubt until you run out of confidence and abandon your dream all by yourself. He has used the tool of delay successfully against many believers. Even Abraham fell for it. Daniel on the other hand persisted in prayer until his answer came. You must understand that delay is not denial. I told you before that God has promised to answer our prayers but He didn’t promise to do so according to our time table.

• Damage. A satanic attack is deliberate, wilful, intentional and well-designed; intended to bring harm to an individual saint in any way possible: physical, mental, in economics, relational, family, spiritual or otherwise.

Satan is 100% pure evil. I heard the story of a man who rescued an injured and dying snake. Later after the snake had fully recovered, they were going down the road with the man chatting and singing. All of a sudden the snake bit the man. Confused, the dying man asked the snake, “Why are you doing this to me? I saved your life remember?” The snake replied, “You knew I was a snake before you took me in.”
None of Satan’s plans are good and none of his purposes are pure.
He is in a way powerful but he has been defeated by Christ. They have placed under the feet of the believer. The least in the Kingdom of God is far superior the devil and his cohort of demons. Luke 10:19 “18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

His target
1Pet 5:8 “8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Satan is on the prowl. But how does he choose his target?

He is always on the look out for the weak, the unprepared, the careless, the vulnerable, the disobedient, the ignorant, the isolated, the desperate, the disappointed, the arrogant and the satisfied.
He will attack you on your way up; he will attack you at the peak of your success and celebration.

• He tries to prevent you from taking off
• He wants to stop those already in motion, to terminate their progress
• He likes to shoot down those who are successful from the top. Job’s comfort and success attracted the anger of Satan.

None of his weapons will succeed in your life in Jesus name!
Isaiah 54:17 “17No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

Isaiah 8:9-10 “9Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. 10Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”

Psalm 21:1-2 1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.”

Your enemies shall stumble and fall in Jesus name. They that hate you shall perish in shame and disgrace.
You will not fall. You will not fail.
You will prevail mightily in Jesus name.
They that are conspiring against you will begin to fight themselves in Jesus name!!!
