Joseph never surrendered to circumstances; he took charge believing there was always a solution. As a result, he was always upbeat. He wondered why Pharaoh’s two officers were sad. He encouraged them to discuss their dreams. He interpreted their dreams. Joseph had the mind to make it. Your attitude is a choice. I cannot choose what happens to me but I can choose the way I react to it.
Your attitude determines your altitude. Joseph came with a positive attitude; he came with confidence. He came with the right attitude. He did not come to the king whining and moaning about the various injustices he had suffered but he came talking about the challenges ahead and how to deal with them. Genesis 41:16, “And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” Choose not to be bitter but better.
Never forget this equation:
Bad Circumstances + Negative Attitude = Inevitable Failure.
PRAY: Father, help me to remain positive even in the face of challenging circumstances, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: God who gave Joseph answers to national problems will give you answers, not only for your personal problems but for problems in your family and community!!
