So, you can rule the earth for God! God’s desire has been to rule the earth through man. Psalm 115:16, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” He wanted earth to be a colony of heaven, impacting it with its culture. God’s original intention was to extend His Kingdom to colonise the earth as it is in heaven. He made man to rule for Him on earth just as it is in heaven. His aim is to influence the earth with the culture, language, laws, etc of heaven. Therefore, man needed to have authority and power if he is to succeed in this assignment. Responsibility for whatever happens on earth is given to man by law. The only legal authority on earth is man. God gave legal authority over earth to man and excluded Himself. Notice that the verse doesn’t say ‘let us’ have dominion but it says, let them have dominion. You have to have authority and power if you must govern the earth. Demons are not in charge; you are!
