Although the blessing connected with primogeniture (firstborn) originally belonged to Esau being the first of the twin brothers to be delivered, I contend that it now belonged to Jacob through a legitimate transaction recorded in Genesis 25:33-34. I doubt very much that God would have supported an illegality to release the blessing on Jacob. After all, man may pronounce it but ultimately it is God who gives it.
However, it must be said that both Rebekah and Jacob should have allowed God to work it out instead of employing questionable means to achieve divine promise. It is like breaking into your own house to steal your own property. That’s absurd! One must never employ illegal means to bring about divine purpose! Trust God to use the best means to bring His plan for you to pass and in His own time.
PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to follow Your strategy and plan to bring Your promises to pass in my life, in Jesus Name!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: As God remembered Hannah, He will remember you. He will soon visit you and your heart’s desire will come to pass. You will not have to wait for long, in Jesus Name!!!
