Ask God for direction; ask God for clarity, ask God for intervention. King Jehoshaphat sought help from God, not man. He resolved to enquire of the Lord and led the people to seek help from God. He spoke to God rather than people. We rehearse our defeat or impending defeat each time we tell our story to others. Mostly we tell our story only to people who cannot help. The best they can do is to sympathize with you. But when you pray you enlist the help of the only One who can help you: God Almighty! God fought for them and gave them cheap victory without them lifting a finger! 2 Chronicles 20
Pray especially in tongues when you don’t know what to do. Rom 8:26,“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us[2] with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Great mysteries can be resolved through praying in tongues.
