During the famine, food was in short supply. There were many who had neither food nor money but the blessing on Jacob made him wealthy. Jacob had no food, but he had enough money to import food from abroad!
Remember you are a covenant child. Covenant children must operate the covenant for it to work. Jacob was a tither and a sower. He was close to God particularly in the later part of his life and God ensured that he survived every famine that was in his lifetime. The psalmist said, ‘I was young and now I am old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread.’ Psalm 37:25. You are covered no matter the magnitude of economic hardship that may hit the land.
I can imagine that the cost of food went up drastically because of the famine but Jacob had more than enough to import food all the same. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is your Father.
PRAY: Father, give me the power to create abundant wealth, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: You will not starve, you will not lack, and you will not fail no matter what is happening around you, in Jesus name!!
