- Hide Yourself Like Jotham. Gideon’s son Abimelech destroyed seventy of his brothers to increase his chances of succeeding his father. But one of them escaped; Jotham. May you be the one that will escape, in Jesus Name! He escaped because he hid himself. You must learn how to hide yourself. Great dreams provoke envy and jealousy. Be tactful in introducing your dreams and visions to people around you. No one is truly happy that you are going to be bigger than them.
Parents should be careful not to show favouritism to a particular child in order not to get that child into trouble. I believe Joseph’s troubles began with the arrival of the coat of many colours. Be humble with whatever God gives you.
Don’t behave like a peacock, showing off whatever you have. It is not always easy to know who hates you in the family because people conceal their real feelings with a smile.
Keep sealed lips except you are sure of whom you are confiding in. People don’t attack what they don’t know.
Be very careful in choosing your confidants. Never discuss your dreams or plans with anyone who has no part to play in their fulfilment. Prayerfully and carefully choose who to confide in.
PRAY: Dear heavenly Father, please help me to deal wisely concerning my dreams, in Jesus Name!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: God will choose your friends and confidants, in Jesus Name!
