Leaders are human who have limits. There ought to be people holding up the hand of the leader in prayer, and in financial and material support. There are support staff too who are needed to handle delegated responsibility; men and women who understand the vision and want to see it fulfilled. Joshua served Moses and fought battles at his command.
What are you doing to help your pastor to lighten his burden? You should not be part of his problem. You should be part of the solution. You should protect him in prayer and defend him every time you have an opportunity. You should support the church by winning souls and serving with your gift. Do your little bit for the body to work. Be faithful with your tithe and support church projects. As you do so, the entire body wins against the kingdom of darkness. Remember, you lose when the hand of the pastor comes down. Make sure his hand does not come down so that you too can continue winning the battles of life.
PRAY: Dear Lord, show me how to support my leader and give me the grace to assist him or her to succeed, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: God will bless and protect you as you support your pastor or leader, in Jesus name.
