God gave Adam and his wife more than they could ever need. Their supply was more than their demand and God reserved a tiny portion for them to stay away from. This was a test of their obedience, discipline and loyalty. It was not designed to punish them (after all they had much more than they could ever want). It was designed to protect them from being cut short.

You are not permitted to have everything. For instance, God gives you a breakthrough and demands for only 10% of it as tithe. You must be careful not to keep it to yourself! But God has given you more than you will ever need at any time and for the rest of your life.

Every society that must survive and thrive must observe the rules and respect the Laws of the land. A lawless society is a hopeless society.

Boundaries protect us and those who fail to understand stand to be punished as Adam and Eve later found out.

PRAY: Dear Lord, give me the discipline to stay away from those things that will separate me from you, harm me or dispossess me, in Jesus Name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION: Greed will not overcome you! Receive grace to live within the bounds set by God in every area of life, in Jesus name! You will thrive and flourish until you become very big in Jesus Name!!!
