Be ye holy. It is a command, not a suggestion. God is holy and to walk with Him, you must be holy. To be holy is to belong to God and live by His commands. To be holy is to be fully owned by God and to live accordingly. Items that were dedicated to God and kept in the temple were regarded as holy. Priests and their garments were regarded as holy. The tabernacle and later the temple were regarded as holy. Now your body is the temple of God and must be regarded as holy. 

First fruit and tithe are regarded as belonging to God and are there therefore holy and must not be tampered with. To tamper with holy things is to disrespect God and is very dangerous! The gold and apparel seized from Jericho were to all belong to God as Joshua was commanded. Achan took some and hid for his personal use; he died with his whole family.

To be holy is to be clean from the stains of the world. Stay clean and separated from the world. Touch not the unclean.

PRAY: Father, help me to separate myself from all worldly lusts and affections and fill me with grace to walk with you, in Jesus name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION: The Lord will preserve you in righteousness and you and your household shall be blessed, in Jesus name!
